R.I.P Mr.Floyd.
Heather, Cameron, Caris, Yeffren, and the entire Floyd family:
We, Brock Adams' family, are sending you our heartfelt sympathy. Your father / grandfather meant so much to so many people and was loved and admired by many including our family. So kind and thoughtful of others; he never hesitated to lend a helping hand. His generosity was a blessing to all. We will always be honored not only for knowing him, but for his visits, help, and attendance at our Adams family reunions. He once created the graphics for the reunion t-shirts, and also did a special t-shirt for our Dad on one of his bithdays. He attended many of our celebrations. In honor of our dad he created a beautiful standing-wooden image of him for a Brock Adams' Day celebration. Please know that each one of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Know that Mr. Floyd's kindness and generosity has not gone unnoticed by any of us but most importantly by his Heavenly Father. Keep your faith in God and allow him to comfort you during your time of sorrow.
With much love, many precious memories, and loving thoughts from Brock Adams' daughters and the Adams family.
To Thomas and family; So sorry for your loss. Marion and Kim Brewton

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd were two incredible people who had a positive impact on my life and the lives of many others. Mrs. Floyd's dedication to her students as a guidance counselor, administrator, teacher, and parent is genuinely admirable, and it's clear that she cared deeply about the well-being and success of her students at the former Park Hills Elementary School. Mr. Floyd's passion for art and his calm demeanor in the classroom at Carver Jr. High School were inspiring and reassuring to his students. Throughout the years, they both checked on me to ensure that I was on the right path to success. I will surely miss them, but their legacy will live on in the memories of those whose lives they touched.
Dr. Patrick Suber

My sincerest condolences to the family of Ramond Floyd. I was in his very first class at Carver in 1963. He was a gentle genius. Since we lived about 5 minutes away from each other, we kept in touch on and off for the past 15 years or so, either over the phone, in Ingles, or when my wife and I visited Silver Hill, or at his home (where he critiqued some of my paintings). Mr. Floyd was a wonderful, devoted and inspiring teacher, friend and a true Christian. There are so many things anyone can say about Mr. Floyd that would put a smile on your face. We are sad about his passing. What a wonderful joy to have known him and know he is present with God Our Father. God did truly smile on him.
