Obituary For Nathaniel Oglesby

Nathaniel Oglesby was the son of the late Earnest and Hannah Oglesby. He was born in Spartanburg, SC on June 11, 1951. He peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on January 18, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Restorative Care.

Nathaniel received his education at the Cleveland Schools in Shelby,NC.

He was employed in landscaping and as a brick mason throughout the years.

"Nip" enjoyed laughing, joking, dancing, and spending time with his best buddies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: four brothers,Joe Moore, Arthur Oglesby, Davis Oglesby and John “Winky”Oglesby.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his daughter, Dasha Landrum; his two grandsons, Jamarious Swindler and Jakavious
Prysock; his two sisters, Mary Ann Dixon (Calvin) and Francis Oglesby Hardy; his three brothers, Nathan Oglesby, James Oglesby and Raymond Oglesby (Christine); and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
