Obituary For Mrs. Barbara Ann Rookard

Spartanburg, SC – Barbara Ann Rookard, 73, entered into eternal rest on October 21, 2014. She was born on November 17, 1939 to the late Mr. William Beatty and Mrs. Annie Beatty. Mrs. Rookard was a native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina; she was the widow of Mr. Clyde Rookard. Mrs. Rookard was a member of New Day Baptist Church. Barbara Ann was a life-long beautician at Brina’s Beauty Salon. Mrs. Rookard was a receptionist at The J.W. Woodward Funeral Home for 30 years. She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: her loving son, Ronald Woodruff of Moore, SC; her beloved daughter, Sebrina Woodruff of Orlando, Fl; her granddaughters, Angelica Senee Woodruff of Boiling Springs, SC and Tyricka Nicole Woodruff of Charlotte, NC; her great grandson, Eric Charles Gaffney, Jr. of Boiling Springs; her nieces, Sonja Beatty and Yolanda Walker; her nephew, Benjamin Beatty, Jr. and a host of relatives and dear friends. A Celebration of the Life of Barbara Ann Rookard will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at New Day Baptist Church, 2090 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. The Reverend James L. Hailstock and The Reverend William E. Smith will officiate. Interment will be held in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29376. J.W. Woodward Funeral Home
