SPARTANBURG, SC-- James "Jim" Thomas Kaminski, 67, of Midland, Michigan, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care in South Carolina after a courageous 7-month battle with Pancreatitis. He was born March 23, 1946, in Midland, the son of Helen Frances Kaminski (Filcek) and the late Stanley Joseph Kaminski. Jim was a faithful Servant of God. He loved his Lord and Savior, and lived every day to its fullest as an example of Christ in everything he did. He had a heart for his family and for people, not just to know of Christ but to have a personal daily relationship with Him. Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one enters the Kingdom except through me."He is survived by his wife ("Always a Lady") Darla Jane Kaminski (DeBolt) who stood by his side every single minute; one daughter, Tara Jane Kaminski-Weese (Husband Steven); three sons, Thomas Allen Kaminski (Wife Sherri), Andrew Jonathon Kaminski, Ryan Darrell Kaminski (Wife Ashley), and like a daughter of his own Danielle Taylor; ten grandchildren, James Thomas Kaminski II, Megan, Roman, Tobias, Baby Kaminski on the way, Ashton, Todd, Bailey, Melanie (Ryan).In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the family in his memory.
