Spartanburg, SC- Jalen Iyan McNeil, 18, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 10, 2020. Mr. McNeil was the son of Alnikia Bell and Joseph McNeil of Spartanburg, SC.
Jalen attended school in Spartanburg District Seven.
He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and LA Clippers. Jalen enjoyed playing Xbox with his friends.
Mr. McNeil was employed with McDonald's.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his three sisters, twin sister Jala I. McNeil, Aniya J. Bell and Dalannie N. Bell all of the home; his brothers, Cortez A. Bell and Dylan N. Bell both of the home; maternal grandparents, Peggy Bell of Spartanburg, SC and the late Allen Bell of Union, SC; paternal grandmother, Gwendolyn Wideman of Spartanburg, SC; uncles, Al Jaroid Bell of Spartanburg, SC and Terele (Chrissy) Gilmore of Union, SC; aunts Nikie McNeil and Lisa McNeil, both of Spartanburg, SC; and great aunts, Ann Bryant of Spartanburg, SC, Floree (Phillip) Smith of Jonesville, SC and Cynthia (Curtis) Landrum of Pacolet, SC.
Jalen was predeceased by a special sister, Ashley Smith of Jonesville, SC; and his grandparents, Simon and Annie Joyce Hill of Pacolet, SC.
A Celebration of the Life of Jalen Iyan McNeil will be held on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard Street, Spartanburg, SC.
The family will receive friends and condolences at 104 Nehemiah Court, Spartanburg, SC.
