Helen Lowrance Todd SPARTANBURG SC-- Helen Lowrance Todd Simuel, 80, entered peacefully into eternal rest on September 14, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Ervin Lowrance and late Glades Moore Lowrance. Helen joined Holden Missionary Baptist Church at an early age, and attended Cumming Street School. Helen leaves to cherish loving memories to: her son, Glenn Gary Todd of Spartanburg, SC; her sister, Mary Artison of the home; her nephew whom she loved like a son, Terry Lowrance of Spartanburg, SC; her granddaughter reared in the home, Nikki Todd; her grandson, John Gary Todd Jr., both of Spartanburg; her six great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and special friends. A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Interment will be in the Holden Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Mary Artison and Gary Todd, 318 Alexander Ave., Spartanburg SC.
