Georgie Edna Bivings Daughter of the late Rosabell Massey Earle and Nathaniel Earle. She was the wife of the late Willie Bivings, Sr. "Tip" for 43 years.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ina Lee Earle and Iola Earle James.
She leaves to cherish her fondest memories to: one son, Dr. Willie W. Bivings, Jr. MD (Kim) of Bowie MD; three daughters, Althea Bivings Tisdale (Ephesian) of Stone Mountain, GA; Doretta Bivings of the home, and Doris Bivings Stewart (Mark) of Moore, SC; one sister, Lerlene Lyles; three nieces reared in the home, Barbara Jackson(Van), Carolyn James of Spartanburg SC and Ieshia James of Wellford, SC; two granddaughters reared in the home, Chimera Bivings Little (Mitchell) and Georgiana Little of Boiling Springs; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; a special cousin, Frances Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was a 1953 Graduate of Lincoln High School. She joined Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church at an early age, then she moved her membership to Foster Chapel Baptist Church, she was on the Pastor’s Aid and a member of Pleasant Falls Sympathy Club.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2800 Stone Station Rd., Roebuck, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
