Dot and I worked in the Cleveland Elementary School library together in the early 2000s. She was a wonderful person who loved her family and was so devoted to her husband, Ernest.

Glyn(Shack) and I (Joe) wish all the family our deepest sympathy for your loss. Glyn and Dot shared many a happy times at work and going to Wade's restaurant amongst other shared times. We know she's happy and in a better place with her beloved Earnest. We shared many times discussing life and the lord and she was truly a dear friend. Mrs. Johnson was an avid member of Bethel FBH Church at 312 Hines Street( Aka Meeting House In Dixie). She was one of The Famous Pilgrim Travelers, the group of friends who lived on Pilgrim Street, Pilgrim Alley, and Thompson Street, In Hambug above The P&N Railroad.Dorothy,Met and married her Pastor's Son Ernest Johnson, my next door neighbor,friend, and and basketball buddy.Dorothy Ruth, lived a life of fidelity,and service to her husband,children, friends, siblings, and lived ,and served Jesus The Christ!!! Worked with Dot for years at Butte Knitt. She was our shop stewardess and a good one at that. If we had a work problem or problem with the supervisor, just tell Dot and she would look into and try to get the problem resolved. What a special woman and she will be greatly missed.
