Mr. Christopher Lamont Byrd entered eternal rest on Monday, December 5, 2022. Mr. Byrd was born on June 22, 1974 a native of Spartanburg, SC. He was the son of Linda Byrd Beatty and the Late Micheal E Martin, Sr. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Doc & Leola Martin, Maternal Grandparents James Byrd & Dartha Byrd. After high school, Chris attended the Butterfly Foundation and graduated with a Culinary Arts Certificate. Chris was big on spending time with family and friends. Chris loved his NFL team San Francisco 49ers and bragged on them every chance he got. He loved dancing and was his thing even without music. and his favorite saying that was heard daily was “BYRD MAN FLY IN ANY WEATHER”, “I’LL HOLLA, “I DON’T WANT NO TROUBLE.” Chris made sure he called his family on a consistent basis and he will truly be missed. Chris leaves cherished, fun and loving memories with his Five Sisters: Tawana (Jeff) Prysock, Shakissa Copeland, LaTasha (Carlos) Robinson, Michealann (Haldand) Oden, Jazzmine Martin and One Brother: Micheal E Martin, Jr. and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that will continue to cherish these memories. Chris possessed a personality that will never leave this world but will remain in each of the hearts of family and friends near and far for an eternity.
