Catherine Elizabeth Suber, 65 passed away on Saturday April 29, 2017 in her hometown Spartanburg, SC. She was born July 1, 1952 to Mrs. Margaret Fant and the late Samuel Fant. Catherine was the beloved wife of Rooservelt Brown, Jr. She was a retired employee of TNS Mills. In her spare time, she enjoyed the company of family and friends. Left to cherish her memories are: her mother, Margaret Fant; her husband, Rooservelt Brown, Jr.; her sons, Troy Lee Suber, Jr. and Corey Lee Suber, Sr., both of Spartanburg, SC; her brothers, Richard Baxter, Sr, of Greenville, SC and Johnathan Fant of Washington, DC; her sisters, Lisa Earle and Josie Smith both of Spartanburg, SC; her daughters-in-law, Patricia A. Suber and Janice M. Suber both of Spartanburg, SC; her brother-in-law, Wilbert Smith; her sister-in-law, Katrina Baxter of Inman, SC; her goddaughter, Tanaya Worthy; her godsons, Jerel Worthy and Zarickus Worthy of Spartanburg, SC; her sister/best friend, Evelyn L. Worthy and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Fant and her sister, Margaret Delania Logan. Catherine Elizabeth Suber, a.k.a. Cat, will be missed but never forgotten. A Celebration of the Life of Catherine Elizabeth Suber will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St. Spartanburg, SC. Elder Glen Fields, Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home, 233 High St., Spartanburg, SC.
