Carolyn Jeffries was born to the late Minnie Lee Collins and Willie Earl Jeffries. Ms. Jeffries entered into eternal rest on May 20, 2023.

Carolyn preceded in death by her brothers Willie Earl Jeffries Jr., Roy Lee Jeffries, her sister Willie Mae Wilder, and her nephew Lewis Earl Butler Jr.

"Cal" as she was fondly known was known for her sassy yet loving and silly personality, time spent with her was a guaranteed good time, filled with lots of laughter. Cal was a person who nurtured and provided to all who came to her. Carolyn worked many years at Arkwright Mill but with her entrepreneurial spirit she went on making money after employment.

Carolyn leaves much love and many memories to, her daughters, Stephanie Jeffries, Sonya Prater, Sharasha Meredith, and her son Ernest Jeffries, her sisters, Joyce Lee Jeffries and Gladys Elaine Jeffries, her grandchildren, Myoshaka Smith, Dateria Butler, Alexis Tolliver, Ernest Jeffries Jr., Keyon Yancey, DaQuavious Jeffries, Marquitta Meredith, Marquett Meredith, Mark Meredith Jr., and Olivia Landrum, her sisters "in love", Pamela Williams, Renee McSwain, and Priscilla Bobo, her special friend, Anthony "Speedy" Canty, her godson, Jamerson Bobo, her special nephews, Bobby Butler, Robert E. Butler, and a hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion World Outreach Baptist Church, 320 Wimberly Dr. Spartanburg, SC. Burial will follow in the Cemetery St. Cemetery.
