Mrs. Barbara Denise "Missy" Johnson Taylor was born on February 4, 1979 to Connie Denise Young and the late James Arthur Young, Sr. in Spartanburg, SC. Missy had a very kind heart and was always loving and willing to help anyone she could.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her faithful and loving husband, Mark "Tim" Taylor; her cherished children, Tamara, Terrell Taylor, Emanuel Johnson, Shainaya Hackett, Constance Johnson, Mackinsey Taylor; her loving mother, Connie Young; one brother, James Arthur Young, Jr.; her father-in-law, Jerold R. Taylor, Sr.; three sisters-in-law, Monic, Terrica and Tisha Taylor; six aunts; two uncles; one niece, Nessiah Young; her grandchildren, Nylah Hill, Emmanuel Johnson, Jr. and Giannis Johnson; and a host of cousins and friends.
On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Barbara passed away at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. She will forever remain in our hearts and minds. We love you, Missy!
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Cemetery St. Cemetery, Spartanburg, SC.
