Ms.Porter was my teacher when I went to Whitlock. I used to get in to stuff all the time. She didn't call my mom on me she called my grandma and needless to say she never had a problem out of me again. One of the people the influenced me to cook the way I do now. R.I.P

I am saddened to hear of Ms. Andrea's passing. I have many fond memories of our time together at Whitlock Jr. High. She was genuine and sincere. I respected her passion for education and her dedication to the students at Whitlock. I very much enjoyed her sense of humor. She spoiled me in our friendship and fostered my love of angels and when my granddaughter was born she gifted her as well. I will be in prayer for the Porter family. -Ouida Page Black
