Obituary For Ronnie "Bo" Lee

(December 24, 1956 -- March 26, 2023)

FORT WORTH --- Graveside services for Mr. Ronnie "BO' Lee, 66 of Fort Worth, will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 2 pm in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with Apostle Jacob McKenzie eulogist under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr Lee was born on December 24, 2023 to the late Ernest and Dell Lee in Little Rock, Arkansas and transitioned on March 26, 2023.in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was a graduate of John Tyler High School Class of 1975 and received his Bachelors Degree from Baylor University.

In 1979, he was drafted in the third round as a tight end by the Miami Dolphins. He played in Super Bowl 19 for the Dolphins and after playing for ten years for the Dolphins and two year for the Atlanta Falcons, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in 1991.

He was preceded in death by brother, Anthony Lee and sister, Ada Lee Smith.

Left to cherish his memories are spouse: Denise Lee of Fort Worth; sons: Ronnie Lee Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, LaWhalen (Rosie) Lee of Dallas, Texas; daughters: Danika Lee of Fort Worth, Texas, Rhonnie Lee ( Benjamin) of Missouri, Shenna Lee of Florida and Tameka Jones of Tyler, Texas; brothers: Ernest (Carol) Lee Jr. of Longview; sisters: Marva Young and Phyllis (Sherman) Johnson both of Tyler, Texas, and Cynthia Wright of Irving, Texas; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2 pm to 8 pm.

R. I. P. Rest In Power

I wasa blessed to ne a teammate of Ronnie's at Baylor. My senior year he came in as a freshman. Ronnie didn't say a whole, but his play, even as a freshman, did the talking for him. I knew even then he had the talent to play at the next level, and enjoyed following his NFL career. As teammates on the 1975 BU team, I grew to love Ronnie like a brother. May Ronnie "Bo" Lee rest in peace, and may his family have comfort and peace during their time of sorrow.
