Obituary For George Price Jr.

(July 15, 1965 — October 27, 2024)

TYLER----Funeral services for Mr. George Price Jr, 59, are scheduled for 12 pm., Monday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Gregory O. Littlefield eulogist.

Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Larue, Tx under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Price was born in Tyler Smith County on July 15,1965 and he transitioned on October 27, 2024. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School. He was a life resident of Smith County and a truck driver for Wilson Lines Inc.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his father, George Price Sr. and nephew, Nicholas Price.. He is survived by his mother: I. Jean Price of Tyler, Texas; sons: Tyshonne Price of Tyler, Texas, Marques Price of Dallas, Texas, Christopher Price of Paris, Texas, Dramine Green and Dramon Green of Tyler, Texas; sisters: Joycelyn Price Brooks (Karl) and Lanita Price both of Tyler, Texas and a host of grandchildren.

Public viewing will be Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 3:30 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.

This is my cousin. We played together as boys riding stick horses. We love to pretend that we were the Barkleys for the western The Big Valley. I was was Nick and he was Heath. We stayed in touch until the LORD called him home. He will be missed. Our prayers are with Mother L. Jean Price and sisters Joycely and LaNita, and his sons.
