TYLER--Funeral services for Miss Deidra Mauldin, 58, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. The services will be held at Warren Chapel C.M.E. Church with Rev. Byron Jackson Sr. serving as as eulogist. FACE MASK RECOMMENDED. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery/ Old Kilgore Highway under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.
Miss Mauldin was born on July 18, 1963 in Tyler, Texas and transitioned on April 6, 2022.
Deidra attended Chapel Hill High School and was a life resident of Smith County. She was a member of Warren Chapel C.M.E. Church where she was a former choir member singing in the adult choir.
Deidra was preceded in death by her grandparents: J.B. and Doris Mauldin, one aunt: Sandra Mauldin Mumphrey and two uncles: Howard Mauldin and Roy Nelson Mauldin.
Family members who are left to cherish her most precious memories are her mother: Mildred Mauldin Ramsey, three sisters: Tawana Polk,, Rohana Martin and Shauna Poindexter all of Las Vegas, Nevada; three aunts: Adrenna Ashley and Billy Mumphrey of Tyler, Texas and Melba Johnson of Winona, Texas; two uncles: Richard Mauldin and Ivory Joe Maulding of Tyler, Texas; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 2 p.m to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Deitra. I'm truly going to miss the laughs and times we shared on Mudda's porch. I know you are where you want to be with Mudda. Tell her I said hello. I will never forget you !
