TYLER--Funeral services for Carolyn Scroggins, 73, are scheduled for 2 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Landmark Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Trammell as eulogist. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.
Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 10 am until 12 noon at Landmark Baptist Church.
She passed at Christus Mother Frances Hospital on August 6, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born September 16, 1950 in Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, two sisters and one brother. Those left to cherish her memory are three sons: Brent Scroggins of Fairfield, Texas, Bradley Scroggins of Chapel Hill, Texas and Rodney (Jessica) Meshell of Tyler, Texas; Granchildren: Hallie, Stephanie, R.J., Ethan, Brooklynn and Zayden Meshell, Sierra, Alexis, Brandon, Brian and Brett Scroggins, Chance Patterson, Brittney Amirault, Hannah Jacobs, Hayzel, Savanna, Broden and Braylen Dabney; Great Grandchildren: Sage Belk, Elijah Jaxson and Ryker Booth, Adde'Lynn Graves, Waylon Taylor, Dakota Patterson and Havi Meshell
I grew up with Sue. She will always have a special pace in my heart. Fly high lil girl ! GOD bless her family.
I attended school with her son Brent Scroggins. My condolences to the family. May your grief be short and your memories of good times be long.

Sue and I were friends through school. We always had alot of fun together we baked cooks together when she and her parents lived on Morningside Drive RIP Sue And prayers to your family.
Sue was my stepmom for over 20 years. She was always with positive encouragements. She always showed love to my sister Donna and I. She will be surely missed. Forever in our hearts. Kim Leger and family and Donna Meshell and family.
