Obituary For Adrian Adkins

( March 15, 1973 – May 30, 2023 )

TYLER – Funeral services for Mr. Adrian Adkins, 50, will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 1 pm in the sanctuary of Dale Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Marshall Johnson, eulogist. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Adkins was born on March 15, 1973 to the late Albert Adkins and Pat Davis Newman. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He was a member of Dale Chapel Church where he was a former choir member. Mr. Adkins was owner and operator of Adkins Logistics Trucking Company.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Destiny Adkins, paternal and maternal grandparents: Dollie and Alfred Adkins, Nathaniel and Minnie Davis.

He is survived by spouse: Wendy Cox of Tyler, Texas. Parents: Gary and Pat Newman of Tyler, Texas; son : Adrian Jr. (April) Adkins; daughter:Anndrea Adkins, both of Tyler, Texas; brothers: Antonio (Ann) Adkins of Houston, Brian (Shae) Adkins of Arlington, Gary Jr (Tonia) Newman and Keith (Trina) Newman both of Tyler; 6 grandchildren, host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the funeral home. It will begin at 2 p.m. and continue until 8 p.m.
