In loving memory of Candice Marie Mosley, who was born on July 10, 1984, in Youngstown, OH the daughter of Daniel Brown and Marie Mosley. She brought light and joy wherever she went, with a heart as big as the Mississippi River. The Sharon High School alumna expressed vibrant her personality through the love for styling hair and as a makeup.
Candice passed away on September 20, 2024, after a brave 14-month battle. Although faced with challenges, Candice's smile remained her trademark, never faltering in the face of adversity. Despite the odds, she remained a pillar of strength, embodying grace and determination until the very end. Candice was a dedicated member of Ruth African Methodist Episcopal Church and found solace in her faith throughout her journey.
Candice's resilience and courage were truly remarkable as she fought tirelessly for her children and family. She leaves cherished memories with her father Daniel (Danielle) Brown. Candice was a loving mother to her children A'Neria Robinson, Danayiah Smith, and Christopher Lyons Jr. She was also affectionately known as "Ganni" to her granddaughter Aloura Ankran.
Her legacy will be upheld by her siblings Lee Mosley, Quintin Mosley, Tamalishia Mosely and Sha'Ron Brown. She also leaves precious memories with her aunt Mavis Brown, who also was her loving caregiver, and Marcus Gregory who she considered a special friend. She also leaves an unbreakable bond with a score of additional relatives and friends.
Candice fought a good fight until the very end. As she crossed the celestial shores into eternity, she was lovingly embraced by her mother the late Marie Mosley, who awaited her arrival.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Ruth African Methodist Episcopal Church, 95 West Connelly Blvd, Sharon PA, on Monday September 30, 2024, with a public viewing starting at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 10:30 am. officiated by Pastor Marion G. Wheeler Jr. The ceremony will reflect Candice's vibrant spirit and the love she shared with those around her.
In lieu of material gifts, please direct any tributes to the funeral home to help defray expenses during this difficult time. As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, let us remember Candice for the unconditional love, robust laughter, and formidable strength she brought into our lives.

I witnessed firsthand how you lived each day for God, leaning on Him for the strength that you needed and trusting in His sovereignty over your circumstances. You inspired me to live a faith-filled life with God. I'm thankful for your love, the love that you have for my son and I'm so very thankful for your friendship. I wish I could turn back the hands of time so I can tell you one more time how much Toot and I love and miss you. You've been such an important part of me and my kids life and for that I'll always be grateful for. Until we meet again my friend....rest well and watch over your godson.
