Mary Francis Gooch, age 74 passed away April 15, 2020 at her residence.

Preceded in death by Husband Henry Lee Gooch; Children; Demetris Gooch, Elaine Starks, and Priscilla Brown.

Survivors include Children, Annette Gooch, Valerie (Robert) Knight, and Ashley (Jocelynn) Gooch; Sister, Julia Huddleston; Brothers, Rev. Eddie (Eula), and Charlie Richardson; 15 Grandchildren; A host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

DUE TO THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE ADVISEMENT REGARDING THE CURRENT CONCERN FOR PUBLIC SAFETY, WE HAVE MADE OUR DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW AT HELLUM FUNERAL HOME, INC., AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING FOR MARY'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO COME AND PAY THEIR RESPECTS SUNDAY, APRIL 19, 2020 FROM THE HOURS OF 12:00 NOON- 4:00 PM.

Graveside service Monday, 2:00 PM Evergreen Cemetery, 519 Greenland Drive, Murfreesboro, TN, Bishop Jimmy Tyson eulogist.

WE REQUEST THAT ONLY IMMEDIATE FAMILY PAY THEIR RESPECTS AT THE GRAVE SITE, ALL OTHER FAMILY AND FRIENDS PLEASE REMAIN IN THEIR VEHICLES AS WE ARE BEING MINDFUL OF THE "SOCIAL DISTANCING" THAT WE MAY ALL REMAIN SAFE AND HEALTHY.

Auntie , your presence will be missed. My condolences go out to Ashley, Val and the remainder of her children.Auntie had always been a great presence in my life growing up. I remember she took us out to the country to visit a relatives farm...think that was before you came Ashley. We had the greatest time .we will miss her

To the Family, I offer my deepest condolences. I will miss Mary Francis at church since we sat one behind the other. I will never forget her kindness as she stopped at a wreck site on the way to visit her sister's church one Sunday morning to offer comfort to my son. She recognized him and refused to leave him alone. God bless each of you and you will remain in my prayers. Doris Knox
