I was saddened when I learned of the earthly promotion of your sainted grandmother, Mother Hicks. Though she has gone away to join that great cloud of witnesses; find comfort in knowing that we do not grieve as those who are without hope. I say to you family, cry if you must but celebrate her life and honor her legacy.
