The Salva's were blessed to know Earlene.....we laughed together, created together, and ate her food! Lord have mercy, my friend could cook! Earlene will be missed.....and when I get to heaven, I'm going to find her and ask her for one more piece of her carrot cake!

My sincere condolences to the Clemmons and Scruggs Family. Mother Earlene was always such a sweetheart to me and enjoyed the fact that I lived on Litton Avenue and went to high school with her oldest son, Zachary. She was also very loving to my Father, Pastor Stanley E. Southall, at the Rutland Baptist Church. Earlene baked him a cake every year for 35 years during Special Pastoral Anniversaries and Birthdays. Her thoughtfulness and genuineness will never be forgotten. Rest Well Mother Scruggs.

My prayers and condolences to Russell and the entire family.I will cherish the memory when Russell asked me to set up the firestick streaming service downstairs she made sure that she could still watch her favorite shows. That was a joy to see her smile after she knew that it worked. Russell and family God will hold you and comfort you during this time.

I will never forget the wonderful times we had at Rutland Baptist Church singing in the choir and other church activities! She always had a loving and caring smile and spirit! She was (and still is) loved by everyone that she encountered! May you all find peace and comfort in the memories and life lessons that she bestowed on you all!
