Mr. Paul Dozier Mitchell, born April 27, 1958, departed this life on December 20, 2024. Paul was educated in the publicschools of Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida. He received his early Christian experience at New St. James AME Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Arthur Mitchell, Sr., and Mrs. Mary Lee Mitchell, and his brothers, Travis Mitchell, Sr., Isaac Hugger, Bobby Mitchell and James Rivers. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Kandace Pauletta Nicholas (son-in-love, Derek), three grandchildren, tensiblings, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many devoted friends. The Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00 am, at Saint Stephen African Methodist Episcopal Church, 913 West Fifth Street. The viewing will be held Saturday, December 28, 2024,5:00 -7:00 pm, at James Graham Mortuary, 3631 Moncrief Road. The burial will take place immediately following the service at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, 2600 Ribault Scenic Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32208. The services are entrusted to James Graham Mortuary.
