William James Sims, Jr., age 60 of Athens, GA passed December 17, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2023 at The Chapel of Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home with interment in East Lawn Cemetery.
Viewing, Wednesday, 2-6 PM, at the funeral home.

Survivors include: four children, Tyvone Carey, Chelsea (Timothy) Kelley-Mack, Kiana Sims and Brent Life, Sr.; grandchildren, Jeremi Moore, Christian Hull, Layla Life, Kylee Barnes, Brent Life, Jr., Areil Barnes, Trent Life and Kori-Ann Abrams; four sisters, Edna Sims Jennings, Judy (Dennis) Richardson, Betty (David) Sims and Debbie Sims; five nephews, Demond Stovall, Sr., David (Deveda) Walker, Taron Jennings, Tyrell Jennings and Deion Sims; one niece, Letoria Thompson; eight great nephews; three great nieces; six aunts; three uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
