Obituary For Rev. George Willie Edwards
Rev. George Willie Edwards, age 80, of Athens, GA passed June 11, 2022.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2022 at Little Valley Baptist Church, Nicholson, GA with interment in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Visitation, Thursday 1-6 PM, at the funeral home.
Survivors include: his wife: Willie Mae Edwards; two sons, Rev. Lamar Edwards and Travis Edwards; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; granddaughter raised in the home, Shaquandra Edwards; niece raised in the home, Regina (Antoine) Roach; siblings, Lillie Edwards, Evangelist Martha (Joe) Rucker, Katie Nell Williams, William Edwards and Cornelius (Kimberly) Edwards.
