It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Austin Parrott. Austin will forever be remembered in our hearts, cherished for his kindness, ambition and love for his family and friends. He passed away at the age of 42, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and a passion for life.
Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, Austin was the beloved son of Janice Edwards-Parrott and Joseph Franklin Parrott. He leaves behind his loving family, including three sisters, two brothers, a host of nieces and nephews, one great-niece, as well as many aunts, uncles, friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.
Austin was a proud achiever in both his education and career. He earned multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Business and Management, and was working toward his Master’s degree at Southern New Hampshire University. Austin was a true "jack of all trades," with a love for fashion, cooking and taking care of others. He worked as an Assistant Manager at Walmart for over ten years and later became the AGM Property Accounts Manager at Georgia Square Mall, where he continued to make an impact. Austin also had big dreams of becoming a celebrity stylist, driven by his creativity and desire to help others feel confident and beautiful.
Austin’s warm heart, vibrant personality and ambition touched the lives of everyone he met. He was a selfless individual who loved fiercely and deeply. His legacy of love, joy and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
In keeping with Austin Parrott’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service.

It makes me saddened to learn of Austin's passing. He was a very kind and thoughtful young man, and a good friend to my daughter, Katy and son, John. He helped my wife and me moved to Florida many years back. You can be proud of your son and relative, he always seemed like a shining light in this world. We will all miss him.
