Mr. Willie Jackson
A Wake Service for Mr. Willie Jackson, born November 8, 1935 to the union of Arthur Sr. and Johnnie B. Shumaker, will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa.
He attended the schools of Hillsborough County. He worked as a foreman for Tom Folsom for over 30 years and work for Carl Little in Thonotosassa, Fl.
Willie was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Rena Jackson; parents, Arthur Jackson Sr. and Johnnie B. Sweet; brother, Ronnie Jackson; sisters, Mary Jackson, Mattie B. Jones and husband Rufus Jones, Elizabeth Joe and husband Charles Joe.
He leaves to mourn him, his devoted daughter Linda Preston (Charles); sons: Ronald Jackson (Deborah), Willie Jackson (Stephanie), William Jackson (Jessie) and Paul Jackson; loving sisters: Virmell Stanley, Evelyn Cowart (Reuben), Ernestine Jones, Beatrice Beal, Bobbie Johnson and Rose Galbreath; brothers: Arthur Jackson Jr. (Yolanda), James Jackson (Jeanette) and Samuel Jackson; Best Friend Elaine Floyd and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Special Friends and Caretakers, Milicent Crist and Cynthia Bishop. His favorite nephews Roosevelt Thomas and Eric Crist Jr.
A Memorial for Mr. Willie Jackson will be on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the residence of Roosevelt Thomas, 11733 Bradley Road, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592.
