Pastor Aaron Munford was born June 21, 1941 to the late Acie Munford and Lillie Mae Watson-Payne. He attended public schools in Selma, AL He joined the United States Army in 1962 and served in the Vietnam War from 1966-1967 and received an Honorable Discharge in 1967. He was the Pastor for New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Acie Munford Jr., Eddie Munford, Joseph Munford, 3 sisters Rosetta Munford, Willie Mae Sampson, Anna Munford, 1 brother-in-law Robert Rose.

He leave to cherish his memories 3 daughters, Ceia Davis, Elvie Franklin, Vannessia Williams, 1 son, Adrian Munford (Danielle) 5 grandsons, Samuel Smith,Tony Smith, Owen Williams Jr., Terrence Williams, Joseph Auguste 5 granddaughters Miya Eagles (Jamaal), Tanisha Wright, DeAndrea Munford, Adriana Munford, Adrienne Munford , 22 great grandkids, Diamond Springs, Takala , J.R., Isaiah ,Trinity Smith, Khalia, Jamarri, Jamir, Kairah Eagles, Shaninesha Randle, Kevin, Sharon Lewis, Cecelia, Antonio, Anthony Wright, Tony Smith, Malcolm Hepburn, Marcus, Tania, Mayliah, Terrell, Messiah Williams , 4 sisters Carrie Rose, Mary Munford- Webb(Aaron), Charlotte Fleming(Carlton) Faye Alexander, 1 Sister-in-law, Cora Munford, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
