Obituary For Gertrude Elizabeth Baker

A Celebration of Life for Gertrude Elizabeth Baker will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, 2:30 p.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610 Rev. Ricardo Robinson, Pastor with Minister Erica Herrington, officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Gertrude was born November 25, 1950, in Lakeland, Florida. She transitioned to eternal rest on February 18, 2023. Gertrude was a very loving caring person who loved her children and grandchildren. She always supported and loved her family. She was a very outgoing and the definition of a strong woman. Those who knew her loved her. Gertrude is preceded in death by her mother, Katie Williams, Father George Baker Sr., Brothers, Henry Baker, Tommy Baker, George Baker Jr., James (JD) Baker, Sisters, Blandine Baker, Blanchie Baker, Betty Davis, Therthea Baker, Uncles, Williams Greene, Eddie Greene, Gilbert Greene, Harry Greene, Albert Greene, Robert Greene and Aunts, Maggie Slater, Mamie Jackson and Alberta Louisy. She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughters, Toni Smith and Sharmel Troupe; Sons: Anthony Miller, and Maurice Miller; Grandsons: Marquis Mosley, Kevin Saffold, Jeremiah Smith, Jaylan Smith, Terrell Sutton, and Jayden Gormley; Granddaughters: Mauresa Miller, Alexus Smith, Jayla Smith, Charlisia Watts, Sharmece Sutton, Jada Gormley, and Mari'Ryce Miller; Godsons: Marvin Singletary and Robert Lee; Sisters: Ola Mae Baker, and Patricia Baker; Brother: Charzell Baker (Sheri); Sisters-n-Law: Evelyn Baker, Helenor Baker, Bobbi Baker, Veronica Troupe, Patricia Howell, Selena Shannon, and Claudette Nungin: Nieces: Fontella Gilbert(Ezell), Tomica Baker, Tia Downey(Marcus), Conethia Walker(Clint), Chavillia Carter(Lucious),Cynthia Cobbins, Tomeka Baker, Ebony Baker, and Andrea Shaw(Gerald) Nephews: Fredrick Baker(Edith), Anthony Davis Sr.(Nicole), Tommy (Kitty)Baker Jr., and Tommy Baker Jr.(Lathesha); Godbrother: Glen Beasley; Brothers-in-Law: Gregory Miller, Clyde Smith, and Eric Worthy And a host of Great Grandkids, family and friends.
