Vanessa Watson

I will miss my friend. Vanessa and I were friends since childhood, she was 7 and I was 10. We lived on the same block in Brooklyn. She moved to Rocky Mount on New Year Day of 94 and I had moved to Charlotte in 92. We would go have breakfast downtown Brooklyn, then walk over the Brooklyn Bridge to lower Manhattan to the music shop to buy new jazz music by the artists we enjoyed. Almost every Friday, we dine at the Seaport in Wall St. Her dad Roy made delicious cakes, especially the yellow layer cake with apple jelly and fresh coconut. Vanessa, my sister, and I would go down to Virginia Beach for Memorial weekend. I will miss her phone calls, we stayed in contact even after her illness. We would still laugh as though we had no sense. One time we laughed so hard, that her mom Harriet came in to the room, it was 2am, we were watching music videos & eating M&Ms. She was my friend and my other sister. I will truly miss her.

Truly a friend in the Lord who we will reunite with when the Lord takes us home to our Heavenly reward. Sandy and Bob Endersby
