My condolences to the family! I remember Mookie growing up and looking out for all of us who were younger in the Neighborhood. I remember him being kind to us. Prayers up family.

Aunt Shirley, my heart goes out to you. God called another one of His angels home. And we know He does not make mistakes. There is a glimpse of peace and promise in this. And that is when you take comfort in the memories you have of your firstborn and know that one day you will see him again. Mookie's memory is your keepsake with which you will never part. Mookie and I were more than just first cousins. He was like a brother to me. In one of our last conversations recently, he said, "Hey kuz luv u guys how is everybody the family good tell everyone I said hey." My first instinct was to take a red pen to that message. LOL!! But that was Mookie. He checked on his family, no matter what. He will definitely be missed. I love you, too, Mookie. 😭🥹
