My condolences to the family. May the Creator make this loss/experience easy for you all. I met cousin Mary about 4 years ago while researching my paternal linage. I had a thirst to know my family and Mary was the only elder available to me. Mary was kind, wise, had quite a sense of humor, and offered up her time to address my desire. Mary took me on a beautiful journey chronicling the history of our family in North Carolina, highlighting their characters, struggles, resilience, courage, and values. Thank you, Mary! My thirst has been satiated. May you be rewarded for your generosity and love for family. I will miss our talks!

Aunt Mary I'm going to miss our talks but I know that you're now in God's Care. We always ended our calls with "I love you " and you will forever live within my heart for a eternity. To my family: "Blessed are they that morn: for they shall be comforted " Matthew 5:4 KJV. Although our hearts are forever broken but treasure all the Precious Memories she bestowed upon each one of us, Amanda Taylor , Daphne Trevathan ( her granddaughters whom she loved dearly), her children Lisha, Rose & Darren. I have only fond memories of Ms Mary. She always left you with a smile after something funny she had said.
