Katrina “Gail” Dozier, 65, passed away Satuurday, January 11, 2025.
Funeral Service 12:00 pm Saturday, January, 18, 2025 at East End Baptist Church 928 E. Highland Ave. Rocky Mount, NC. 27801 with Rev. Mack E. Battle, pastor and Pastor Gwen Bowen, officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at East End Baptist Church.

Please accept our deepest condolences for the loss of your wife, Katrina. I met her in 2002 while living in Conyers, GA. My husband, William Norwood- Rocky Mount, NC native was friends with her husband. We were invited to their beautiful home for holiday dinners. She was so very friendly. She will not be forgotten. RIP, your job was done with the Lord.

Sending my condolences to the family. Mrs Dozier was a sweet soul and I'm so very thankful to have been able to work with her. I'm going to miss hearing her sweet voice down those halls. We were all her babies at Prep and she made that known by always calling us baby or sweetheart. She would always end our conversations with an I love you and I would always say love you more. Wow this is hard to believe, she was my friend here at work. She was on the other side of the building and i would walk over to see how she was doing. Katrina and I grew up friends in the neighborhood . We attended the same schools up to graduation. I was always pleased to see her when I ran into her or at church. Katrina was a Head Start Teacher who was the upmost professional! She was a blessing to all the children and parents in her care!
