Dorsey Mack Whitehead, 88, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801 with Dr. Authurice Mitchell, presiding and Reverend Elbert Heath, eulogist. Burial will follow at Gardens of Gethsemane.
Visitation 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Funeral Home.
Service will be Livestream via Hunter-Odom Funeral Service website

My sincere condolences to Mattie and the Whitehead Family. I met Dorsey at the Victoria Falls Community at Laurel, Maryland. He and I attended several Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity meetings. He and Mattie also joined my wife and me on a church sponsored trip to the Sight and Sound Theatre in Pennsylvania. Our prayers are with the family.
