Kesha, I pray your strength in the Lord, knowing that He will carry you though. You know your Mother and I worked together at Dawson Elementary School for many years and made personal friendship. Our little group had lots of fun times together that I will always remember as you all (children) were playing around having fun as well, so you remember some of those good memories, as they will uplift your spirit. My prayers are with you and the family! Love always Barbara Simmons
We just like to extend our sympathy and condolences to the family of a fine lady. Rest in peace. Sam Harding and Family.
Sending my most sincere condolences and prayers to the Lyons and Joyner Families. Joyner, as I called her, worked together in Halifax County Schools for years. We've travelled may years to the NCAEOP State Conference and local conferences. She was a sweetheart and the many fond memories I have will forever be cherished. Rest in Paradise Joyner, gone but never forgotten. Mabel Taylor-Jones

Condolences to you all Family. Rest Easy Cousin.
I remember working with Ms. Joyner at Dawson Elementary School. She was such a sweet lady. She will be missed. Lakesha, I send my condolences. Your mother was kind and honest.
My Cousin was one of the sweetest, kindest persons I have ever known. She was an outstanding mother, working hard to give her daughter an opportunity to attend and graduate from collage, becoming a productive member of society. She would always attend Family Gatherings. Her demeanor was quiet and unassuming but her presence was always felt and appreciated. I know she's in a better place now but she will be missed. Rest In Peace. Love Emerson❤️
