We offer our condolences to the Ellis Family. We became friends of Nicole and her family when we moved to Cary. Nicole always made us feel apart of a community/family. She gave us great advice and had a wonderful (funny) personality. It is hard to believe she is no longer physically on Earth, her Spirit will always be apart of our heart. We are so deeply sadden to learn of Nicole's passing. Just over 13 years ago, she took a chance on a newly divorced mom of a three year old and accepted us as her tenants in her townhome. She showed us such kindness and warmth when we first moved in and then around every holiday, she would always send a sweet message. Her kindness and sweet nature will always be remembered. Nicole and Nichelle were very nice young ladies to me in high school. my name is Sheila Burton and Nicole was very nice to me. Even though I did not get to know Nicole and Nichelle very well they were nice to me when would see them in school, I would say hi,and sometimes get them mixed up, they were the first set of identical twins I had ever met so I was happy when they told me I called one of them the wrong name. Godspeed to you Nicole. You were an angel with us on earth now you're an angel with God.

I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely woman when we were freshmen at A&T. I could see that she and Nichelle were inseparable. Everyone in McNair Hall could see that. So I made the bold move of attempting to insert myself into their lives - starting sitting right between the two of them. And through the grace of God, Nicole and Nichelle let me in (after a few attempts). They blessed me.

We are just getting the news here in the D.C. area but please allow me to offer my sincere condolences to all of Nicole's family and loved ones. She will be missed.
