Ms Katie was one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing and I'm praying for her entire family. I first met Ms Katie at work where we had some wonderful conversations that always ended with hugs and laughter. I will always remember her and smile. Rest Sweet Lady, Beverly Lovick

My dear... sweet wonderful neighbor, Mrs. Katie will forever be loved and missed by all of her neighbors here in Rockwood. Always a kind word and gentle, loving spirit. Never seemed to meet a stranger and always gave freely of her self and shared whatever she had with those in need. The twinkle in her eyes will continue to bring a joy to my heart. I'm going to miss you dearly! DeBorah Smith

Katie was one of the sweetest, caring ladies I have ever known. She always had a smile and a kind word. She was a very caring neighbor, and would come to the Food Pantry at Russell Memorial just so she could share with her neighbors who did not have transportation. I will truly miss her presence in the neighborhood.
