Obituary For Douglas McArthur Satterfield, Sr.

Mr. Douglas McArthur Satterfield, Sr., 78, was born on Monday, August 7, 1944 and departed this life on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Visitation and funeral services will be held at Orange Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 505 East End Ave., Durham. NC, on Thursday, September 1, 2022, visitation service with family and friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and funeral service at 12:00 PM. Repast will be held at Bethesda Ruritan Club, 1714 South Miami Boulevard, Durham, NC.

A private burial for family and close friends will be held at Oak Grove Memorial Cemetery on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

Masks are to be worn and social distancing recommended at all gatherings with family and friends.

All acts of kindness are appreciated during this difficult time.
