I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. I hope that this scripture can bring some comfort during this time.
My thoughts and prayers are with our family during this most difficult time. I love you all. RIP.

We're so sorry to hear you are suffering the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Nahum 1:7 which reads: âJehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.â Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise. Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with her in Sociology for many years. She was a wonderful person.
It is with sadness that I heard of Mrs. Parker's passing. Please know that we appreciated her work with our students and staff for many years at Duke. To her family and friends, you have my deepest sympathy. Dean Caroline L. Lattimore (retired) TCAS, academic dean, Duke University
