One of my most cherished memories with Uncle Maurice was found in a game of pool. I had heard over the years growing up that his skills were top-notch, a GOAT in today's terms. Before starting the game, I asked if were there any house rules, and he said yeah only one, "don't miss". After several games of repeated loss, I realized the legend was true, never miss because a second opportunity was unlikely.
