Obituary For Spencer Oliver

Mr. Spencer Oliver, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Boss, Sr. and Albeatrice Perry Oliver, was born May 20, 1948 in Macon County, Alabama.

At an early age, he confessed Christ and united with Bell Missionary Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama. He was a member of the J.F. Drake High School Class of 1966.

“Sir Rainbow” as he was known, was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and repairing cars. His favorite hobby was playing music at different events being DJ Sir Rainbow.

On Sunday, March 19, 2023, he departed this life at Baptist East Medical Center in Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by: a son, Patrick Williams; a sister, Annie Oliver and a brother, Roosevelt Oliver.

He leaves to cherish his memory: six children, Thenita Hutchinson, Anthony Williams, Antonio (Tonya) Thomas, Tamila Bufford, Almeshia (Robert) Cattage and Keldrick Thomas; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Oliver and Boss (Marion) Oliver, Jr.; one sister, Ruth Norman; a special devoted companion, Luretha Williams and her children, Kim Jackson and Calvin Williams; two special nieces, Jeanie Welch and Marie Rowe; a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
