Funeral service for Michael Driver, 67, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2025, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Clifford E. Jones will officiate.
Mr. Driver, who passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born July 30, 1957, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Mr. Driver will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: wife, Patricia Ann Driver of Opelika, AL; one son, Lamarcus Driver of Opelika, AL; one grandchild, Lamiracle Driver of Auburn, AL; two sisters, Patricia Driver Bourda and Geraldine Canada both of Opelika, AL; five aunts, Joann Wisdom of Durham, NC, Lois Dykes of Cleveland, OH, Linda Wisdom, Beatrice Driver and Nellie Driver all of Opelika, AL; two uncles, Walter Driver of Atlanta, GA and William (Mary Ann) Wisdom of Opelika, AL; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Howard of Opelika, AL and Gwen (Henry) Payne of Auburn, AL; five brothers-in-law, Jimmy (Linda) Vickerstaff of Auburn, AL, Johnny (Janice) Vickerstaff of Opelika, AL, Ray (Stephanie) Vickerstaff of Auburn, AL, John (Pamela) Vickerstaff of Opelika, AL and Frank (Delane) Vickerstaff of Opelika, AL; two devoted friends, John T. DeNeal and Jimmy Dowdell; favorite pet cat, Grits; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
