Obituary For Mable "Sister" Hill

Funeral service for Mable Hill, 101, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, 515 South 6th Street, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, 1218 Frederick Road, Opelika, AL 36801, Reverend Clyde Fielder will officiate.

Ms. Hill, who passed away Thursday, January 26, 2023 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born December 16, 1921 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Monday, January 30, 2023 one hour prior to the service. (Facial covering is required).

Memories of her life will be cherished by: two sisters, Hazel Hill Hughley and Betty Hill Fielder both of Opelika, AL; one nephew, Willie Lee (Susan) Hughley of Opelika, AL; two nieces, Mae Etta (Brawnski) Towns of Huntsville, AL and Bridget (Elbert) Jones of Atlanta, GA; one grandnephew, Derrick Hughley of Opelika, AL; one grandniece, Vickye (Edmund) Ford, Jr. of Memphis, TN; one great nephew, Derrick Hughey, Jr. of Opelika, AL; one brother-in-law, Reverend Clyde Fielder of Opelika, AL; a host of relatives and friends.
