Obituary For Larry Turk

Funeral services for Larry Turk, 67, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, 7282 Highway 14, Loachapoka, AL, 36865 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, 4650 Arrow Head Road, Loachapoka, AL, 36865, Reverend Phelix Lockhart will officiate.

Mr. Turk, who passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born March 16, 1956, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, June 2, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Mr. Turk will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory: wife, Hattie Turk of Auburn, AL; four children, Carlton (Tameka) Turk, Cedric (Deccie) Turk both of Huntsville, AL, Christy (Antonio) Wagner of Auburn, AL and Christopher (Gifty) Turk of Clifton, VA; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Turk of Loachapoka, AL; one brother, Andrew Turk of Loachapoka, AL; one aunt, Geneva Turk of Notasulga, AL; three sisters-in-law, Rose Young of Clearwater, FL, Tina Nelson of St. Louis, MO and Bessie Lee Turk of Loachapoka, AL; six brothers-in-law, Arvin (Shirley) Robinson of Loachapoka, AL, Tommie Butler of Huntsville, AL, Nathaniel Butler, Jonathan Butler (Leatha Williams), Jerry (Velma) Butler and Golden (Sharon) Butler. Jr. all of Clearwater, FL; a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
