Graveside service for Hazel Nunn, 83, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 1145 Chambers County Road 004, Waverly, Alabama 36879, Reverend Corey Huguley, Pastor and Officiating, Reverend Rodney Jones, Eulogist.
Mrs. Nunn, who passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Arbor Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center, Opelika, Alabama was born April 7, 1938, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, September 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required)
She leaves to cherish her memory: four children, Laura Mennifield, Tommie (Vickie) Menafield of Opelika, AL, Dexter (Justine) Nunn of Auburn, AL and Rantae Mennifield of Opelika, AL; five step-children, Deborah (Curtis) Dowdell of Waverly, AL, Moss “Jimmy” Washington, Kenneth Washington, Eddie James Washington all of Opelika, AL and Calvin (Pamela) Washington of Auburn, AL; three sisters, Bessie Ruth Ingram, Catherine Pearson both of Opelika, AL and Emily Ann Williams of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Jimmy (Carolyn) Maddox of Long Island, NY; thirteen grandchildren, Victoria Felton, Dexter Nunn, Jr., Sakieria Nunn, LaBrodrick Nunn, Tiffany Washington, LaTravious Menafield, Keyon (Kennya) Johnson, April Menafield, Ebony Menafield, Twanabious Menafield, Tyarious Menafield, Lacy Boynton and Remus Menafield; seventeen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
