Graveside service for Dorothy Hill, 73, of Lafayette, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, December 18, 2023, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, County Road 28, Lafayette, AL, 36862, Reverend Calvin Marshall, Pastor, Reverend Dr. George C. McCulloh, Officiating and Reverend Gregory Sutton, Eulogist.
Ms. Hill, who passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Focused Care at Webster Nursing Home in Webster, Texas, was born April 4, 1950, in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Greta Hicks-Brooks of League City, TX and Joshua (Raven) Hill, Sr., of Lafayette, AL; one stepson, Warren Pitts of Waverly, AL; five grandchildren, Alexis, Jalen, Cayla, Joshua, Jr. and Keylun; one great-grandchild, Master Kali; one brother, Donald (Janie) Brooks, Sr., of Tuskegee, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
