Funeral service for Cedric Perry, 44, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Bishop Kenneth Carter, officiating and Bishop Larry Johnson, Eulogist (Facial covering is required)
Mr. Perry, who passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022 at his home in Opelika, AL, was born February 26, 1978 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).
He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted companion Melissa Anderson of Opelika, AL; two children, Zy’Keriah Nalani Perry and Zi’Quavius LaCedric Perry both of Opelika, AL; parents, Eugene and Ruby Perry of Opelika, AL; one sister, Regina Perry of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Von Eric Perry and Queston Perry both of Opelika, AL; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Jean Johnson of Opelika, AL; maternal grandfather, Willie Lee Reed of Opelika, AL; seven uncles, Kenneth (Cynthia) Johnson, Freddie Johnson, Timothy (Monique) Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Jackie Johnson all of Opelika, AL, Sidney (Villel) Reed of New Orleans, LA and Ron (Miriam) Reed of Mount Juliet, TN; six aunts, Brenda Johnson, Norma (Larry) Harper both of Cusseta, AL, Janice Johnson, Barbara Griffin (Douglas Martin), June Reed all of Opelika, AL and April Nias of Sumpter, SC; four devoted friends, Willie Patrick, Shaffer Melton, Jacquez Battle and Larry Harris all of Opelika, AL; a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
