Memorial service for Austin Jordan, 31, of Opelika, AL, will be at 12:00 noon, Monday, February 24, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2000 South Uniroyal Road, Opelika, AL, 36801, Reverend Dr. George C. McCulloh will officiate.
Mr. Jordan, who passed away Saturday, February 14, 2025 in Lee County, Alabama, was born October 8, 1993, in Lee County, Alabama.
No Public Visitation.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: parents, Ronald Jordan and Audra Jordan, both of Opelika, AL; one sister, Monique (Sovensky) Preston of Opelika, AL; one brother, Rondricous Jordan of Opelika, AL; grandmother, Lennie B. Jordan of Opelika, AL; seven aunts, Mary P. Davis of San Antonio, TX, Virginia P. (Dr. Lee) McGriggs of Houston, TX, Peggy Ross, Glennie P. Melton, Jeanette Peters, Phyllis Peters and Virginia Peters all of Opelika, AL; two uncles, Michael Jordan and Demetriace (Latoya) Jordan both of Opelika, AL; one nephew, Kodi Malik Preston; two nieces, Orah Makai Preston and Akirah Jordan; godmother, Earnestine βDottieβ Evans of Opelika, AL; bonus aunts, Andrya Rae Dean Johnson, Althea Ashford, Sanquinetta Clark, Yvette Preston, Jacqueline Dodson all of Opelika, AL, Monica Foster of Phenix City, AL, Krista Collins of Hueytown, AL and Remonia Hines of Hogansville, GA; bonus uncle, Reggie Avery of Opelika, AL; special mentor, Reverend Eddie Kelsey of Opelika, AL; devoted companion; Shakyra Jenkins and her children, Rylan Whittaker, Zoey Whittaker and Romel Whittaker; close friend, Bakari Clark; a host of special cousins, other relatives and friends.
