Memorial service for Anthony Frazier, 55, of Opelika, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Brother John Raymond Williams will officiate.
Mr. Frazier who passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Baptist South Health in Montgomery, Alabama, was born April 25, 1969, in Lee County, Alabama.
A proud graduate of Opelika High School's Class of 1987, Anthony went on to further his education at RETS Electronic Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. His intellect and natural aptitude for mechanics and electronics led him to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. After his honorable service, he carried his talents into the civilian workforce as a skilled machine operator at Briggs and Stratton.
Anthony's hands were rarely still; he found joy and purpose in repairing cars, appliances, computers, and various electronic items. He was the go-to person in his community for fixing anything that had a circuit, and he often volunteered his time to help neighbors, friends, and family with their mechanical and electronic needs.
He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Allegra Frazier of Opelika, AL; two children, Andre Frazier of Atlanta, GA and Antwain Frazier of Lagrange, GA; parents, Thomas and Deborah Frazier both of Opelika, AL; one grandson, August Frazier; one granddaughter, Avani Frazier; two stepdaughters, Alexis Cage of Opelika, AL and LaQuita Sanders of Atlanta, GA; two stepsons, Brad (Kristle) Edwards of Opelika, AL and Chris Mitchell of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; one sister, Felica Sharpe of Opelika, AL; one brother, Demetrius (Lauriette) Frazier of Auburn, GA; two nieces, Capri Frazier of Brookhaven, GA and Jordan (Kimdrick âKJâ) Feaster of Bethlehem, GA; mother-in-law, Mary (Woodrow) Jackson of Opelika, AL; five sisters-in-law, Veronica (Todd) Chaloupka of Navarre, FL, Beverly Moore, Jody Dowdell, Jennifer (Joseph) Lockhart all of Opelika, AL and Jennifer Dowdell (Tynya Beverly) of Sacramento, CA; one brother-in-law, Gregory Dowdell of Opelika, AL; one special friend, Rory France of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.
