I can only imagine, what it will be like. When I walk by Your side, I can only imagine. What my eyes would see, When Your face is before me. I can only imagine.
Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe of You be still Will I stand in Your presence or to my knees, will fall? Will I sing hallelujah? Will I be able to speak at all? I can only imagine…
When that day comes, And I find myself Standing with the son. I can only imagine. When all I will do
Is forever, forever worship You. I can only imagine.
It is with a heavy and sad heart, but yet rejoicing spirit. That Mrs. Sheryl Benjamin Mitchell of Valdosta Georgia fought a good fight, and have fulfilled her course, and have kept the faith. There is laid up for her a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, who is a righteous judge, has rewarded to her at 10:26 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
REFLECTION OF HER LIFE: Mrs. Sheryl Benjamin Mitchell was born May 1, 1958, A wife of noble character. She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Sheryl Benjamin-Mitchell was born on May 1, 1958, to the late Charlie and Henrietta Williams-Beniamin. She was a faithful member of Greater Pleasant Temple Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a choir member and church secretary. Sheryl was devoted to her family and was adored by her friends and all who encountered her. She was a graduate of Lanier County High School and Valdosta Technical College (Wiregrass). Sheryl was also one of the best administrative assistants that has served Lowndes Middle School. She was an amazing baker; her hobby was appreciated by many.
A Message from Sheryl: To those I love and to those that love me. If you could see me now, you wouldn't shed a tear. Though you may not understand why I'm no longer here. Remember my spirit, that's the real me. I'm still very much alive, oh, if you could only see! I've beheld our father's face. I've touched my Savior's hand. The angels all rejoiced as I entered the Promised Land. Beyond the gates of pearl, I walk on golden streets. I've touched the walls of jasper, dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words, nothing can compare. I've even seen your mansion; someday I will meet you there. Allow Jesus to be your guide, His word will show you the way. So, please, don't cry! We will meet again someday!
